Maybe the biggest fiesta in Teulada - Moraira: The Moors and Christians (Moros Y Cristianos) festivities from June 6th - 15th, with the main events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (13-15/06).
On Friday the flower offering and the spectacular night act of the "Conquista Mora" take place on the beach of l'Ampolla. A spectacular reenactment of the battle between the Moros and Cristianos, where the Moros win and take over Moraira.
On Saturday afternoon, don´t miss the "Reconquista" show on the beach of l'Ampolla and around the "Castillo de Moraira", where the Cristianos are reconquering Moraira from the Moros.
The party ends with the majestic Gala Parade that runs through the streets of the urban center on Sunday afternoon. All the "filades" are dressed in spectacular clothing and parade in squad formation, preceding the captains of each side, the Christian and the Moorish.
